Can't imagine how intense it is. But in terms of traveling, I might understand some feelings. I've been more or less on the run for a year and three months. Indeed! It is part of the process, and sometimes can be incredibly intense, but there are good things to learn even in the hard moments.
At the moment I'm projected to stay in Brooklyn a bit longer! I'm originally from Japan, spent 6 months in Mexico, and now in the US. But I'm itching to go somewhere else already, so need to either put a leash on myself or make the leap. The season of decisions!
Your words remind me of the book “The Comfort Crises”… in our modern world many of us are sitting in their warm, cozy homes and are always just one click away on Amazon to solve our problems and needs, we don’t have to find solutions on our own and don’t have to be creative in solving problems most of the time… I think more of us should take away their banisters from time to time and see how life is going without :)
